You can keep a dual color combination as well.

Suppose you spray your wall sconces a black first and then sprinkle copper or either bronze color on it. The best combination would be the one which matches with your furniture. You would like to sit on the chairs too. The color scheme should be neither too dim nor too sharp. Sharp golden tones often look cheap and do not attract any one, but dim golden tones do.
