Sugar By Any Other Name
Health August 15th, 2008During dieting, the greatest enemy is always sugar. Many manufacturers use sugar in their products and end up giving those names like sucrose, dextrose and syrup among other names. Sugars provide very little in terms of healthy provisions to beat weight.
As a matter of fact, sugars increase our opportunity at making the biggest weight in the shortest time possible. All the se sugars in our bodies though too some extent increase calories in our bodies, they also tend to allow the storage of fats under the skin.
By all means, while using diet pills, you should avoid sugar as it feigns energy while it causes a host of ailments and conditions that eventually lead to our failure at reducing our fat levels. Therefore one should work hard to reduce sugar in his diet if he has interests of becoming healthy and fit. How can we avoid sugars then?
First you must read all labels and familiarize yourself with all sugar names in order that you may detect and chose the right product. Secondly you should try to buy fresh vegetables and fruits from the grocer.
Avoid canned fruits packed in syrup. You must also cut down on the sugar levels you use in your meals at home; in a short time you will be able to feel comfortable with unsweetened meals and beverages.
Prepare your own food at home, and make sure you keep the sugar lid tightly locked. Since sugar has many unused calories, too much of it only increases the amount of fats in the body not to mention the erosion you teeth.
